Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite at our Woodbridge rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate closely with a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. The practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance. Our facility is designed to encourage teamwork and innovation, enabling each team member to contribute meaningfully to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish treatment goals and tailor individualized care plans based on their specific needs.
• Administer one-on-one patient treatment sessions, managing a typical caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused attention and care.
• Utilize diverse treatment techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise regimens, and functional training, to facilitate recovery and improvement.
• Regularly monitor and document each patient's progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes and effectiveness.
• Educate patients about their conditions, anticipated treatment outcomes, and strategies for at-home care and wellness to empower them toward self-management.
• Foster open communication with patients about their progress, addressing any concerns and celebrating achievements to keep them motivated throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialty providers, to optimize integrated patient care.
• Participate in the development and implementation of fitness and wellness programs that target specific patient populations for ongoing health and vitality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Active Motion Physical Therapy Services, our primary focus is on orthopedic patients requiring outpatient rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those with chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Excellent manual therapy skills and a thorough understanding of physical therapy principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with patients and their families, ensuring a supportive treatment environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly software like WebPT, for efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and an understanding of the latest advancements in physical therapy.
• Experience in developing and providing patient education and wellness initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
