Work Environment

You will work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technology. The atmosphere is dynamic and patient-focused, where you will collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals. Our clinic operates from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule while maximizing your impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, helping you design targeted treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs, catering to the specific needs and capabilities of each patient.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and post-rehabilitation strategies to promote independence and long-term wellness.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, ensuring accurate records of treatment efficacy and adjustments to therapy as necessary.
• Encourage patients through motivational techniques to maintain engagement in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create a cohesive care strategy for patients.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain comprehensive patient records and facilitate seamless communication across the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses primarily on orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse patient population ranging from young athletes to older adults recovering from surgical procedures. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing various conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and mobility limitations, thereby making a positive impact on their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of an active and clean Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care with a focus on delivering actionable therapy solutions.
• Proficiency in employing a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions.
• Ability to navigate EMR systems, particularly in documentation and treatment planning as per the workflow of our facility.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy research and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• History of successful collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Experience in providing post-operative care and rehabilitation strategies for various orthopedic procedures.
• Familiarity with the latest techniques in sports medicine rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
