Work Environment

This full-time role requires an onsite presence within our collaborative team comprised of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, ensuring a supportive environment for both staff and patients. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured day focused on patient care with weekends off to recharge.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the needs of patients through comprehensive diagnostics to develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain a structured appointment schedule with a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Employ evidence-based interventions and a variety of treatment techniques to enhance patient mobility and physical performance.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journeys by incorporating motivational interviewing and tailored therapeutic exercises.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress accurately using our electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to deliver cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Foster an environment of continual learning and adaptation, staying current with best practices within orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, who are often dealing with orthopedic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, or chronic pain management. Your role as a Physical Therapist will be instrumental in addressing these needs through a patient-centric approach, ensuring each individual receives tailored treatments aimed at their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no board actions or disciplinary measures recorded.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficiency in designing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with using EMR systems including, but not limited to, WebPT, to streamline patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a high-demand outpatient setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of current trends and modalities in physical therapy that promote patient outcomes.
• Background in developing wellness programs that emphasize injury prevention and physical fitness.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level.
