Work Environment

This position requires on-site work in our outpatient facility, which is designed with modern equipment and a patient-centered focus. Our schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, encouraging a balanced work-life alignment. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Paramount Physical Therapy Ltd., your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with diverse functional limitations and disabilities, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that align with state practice acts and adapt to the evolving healthcare environment.
• Documenting patient care activities with precision, including initial evaluations, ongoing treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to address patient needs and modifying treatment plans as necessary based on changes in the patient's condition.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families about exercise programs, rehabilitation techniques, and overall wellness.
• Participating in facility meetings to discuss patient care strategies and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Maintaining compliance with corporate and clinical service training, as well as adhering to all state, local, and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working primarily with adult patients experiencing orthopedic issues, post-operative rehabilitation, and general musculoskeletal concerns. The treatment approaches will range from manual therapy techniques to modalities and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual recovery paths. Your ability to build rapport and engage with patients will be crucial in fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid physical therapy license issued by the state of New Jersey.
• Two (2) years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in physical therapy practices.
• Current certification in CPR.

Preferred Experience
