Work Environment

This role is situated within an onsite outpatient office setting where collaboration and communication are essential. The clinic is designed to support a high volume of physical therapy services, allowing therapists the resources they need to engage effectively with each patient. Our office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment for our staff. You will be working alongside a tight-knit team that includes two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to develop individualized treatment plans that meet their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Administer and oversee a variety of treatment techniques and modalities for 2-3 patients per hour.
• Utilize manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to enhance patient outcomes.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they stay engaged and informed.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly assess and adjust treatment protocols based on patient progress and feedback.
• Focus on wellness and preventive strategies that promote a healthier lifestyle for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population served in our outpatient office consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. This includes post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our therapists play a crucial role in helping these patients regain their mobility and return to their active lifestyles. Each encounter emphasizes establishing a trusting relationship to promote lasting health improvements.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy and assessment skills tailored for orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful rehabilitation plans.
• Experience in creating fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
