Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily based onsite in our outpatient office. You will interact with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and resources, allowing you to implement the most effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to establish patients' goals and needs, using these insights to develop customized treatment plans.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques to improve clients' motion and mobility effectively.
• Design wellness and fitness programs aimed at enhancing patients' physical capabilities based on individual circumstances.
• Deliver personalized, evidence-based care and utilize proven interventions to optimize patient recovery.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process to foster their commitment to recovery and optimal function.
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through targeted exercises and education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with span a wide range of ages and mobility levels, with a specific focus on individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions such as fractures, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be instrumental in guiding them through their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing a patient-centered care approach that acknowledges each person as a unique partner in their healing process.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong background in patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and direct intervention.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Capacity to adapt your approach to meet the varying needs and personalities of patients.

Preferred Experience
