Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite within our outpatient office, located conveniently in South River, NJ, allowing therapists to engage directly with patients in a professional and supportive atmosphere. You will work collaboratively with other health professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while also having the flexibility to create your own schedule from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a one-on-one setting, using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to individual needs.
• Construct and implement personalized treatment plans that involve exercises, therapeutic maneuvers, and manual therapy techniques to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including treatment outcomes and necessary adjustments to therapy goals over time.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques, self-care strategies, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Conduct regular reassessments to refine therapeutic goals and adapt treatment plans as required, ensuring continual progression towards recovery.
• Maintain and update professional knowledge through attendance at workshops and collaboration with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse group of individuals, including children, adults, and seniors, each with varying diagnoses and rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively engage both patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but we also welcome new graduates eager to grow in their careers. Experience in outpatient care settings, particularly with versatile treatment techniques and patient education, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
