Work Environment

This position is primarily home-based, allowing you to deliver personalized therapy in the comfort of our patients' residences. As part of our dynamic team, you will benefit from a flexible work schedule, choosing your hours Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic diseases in their home environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and electrotherapy to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure maximum therapeutic effectiveness.
• Educate patients on exercise techniques and the use of assistive devices to promote independence and safe mobility.
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support compliance with therapeutic programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment and progress, and provide regular updates to physicians as required.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, reviewing current literature, and actively participating in professional societies to uphold high standards of care.

As a physical therapist at Fun and Moving Physical Therapy, Inc., you will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their recovery processes, focusing on personalized care that empowers them to meet their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
• A flexible, adaptable approach to patient care, with a willingness to adjust methods based on individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is beneficial, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in home care or with pediatric and geriatric populations is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
