Work Environment

In the Home Care setting, you will meet patients in their own environments, providing personalized attention that fosters a comfortable and conducive healing atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, challenges, and needs. Based on these assessments, develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions.
• Implement progressive rehabilitation programs that focus on restoring functional mobility, mitigating pain, and enhancing the quality of life for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or lasting injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other therapists, to establish cohesive treatment goals and track patient progress through regular team meetings and open communication.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home care strategies, and lifestyle modifications that promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and modifications to care plans, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, fractures, or sports injuries, as well as patients with chronic conditions, such as arthritis. Our clients range from young athletes to elderly individuals, allowing you the opportunity to apply your skills to help each one on their unique path to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid New Jersey State License to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and their families.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing healthcare environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home health care or outpatient orthopedic settings will be a significant advantage. Proficiency in utilizing technology for telehealth, electronic medical records, and innovative therapeutic modalities will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The attractive salary range for this position is USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise.
