Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations: Assessing patients' physical capacities by reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting results accurately.
• Co-creating treatment plans: Communicating evaluation findings with patients and their families to collaboratively set realistic goals and treatment strategies.
• Implementing evidence-based therapies: Applying tailored treatments and rehabilitation protocols based on the latest in clinical research and guidelines.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation: Keeping precise records including initial evaluations, ongoing progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Consulting with healthcare professionals: Working closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists to ensure integrated patient care when necessary.
• Enhancing patient engagement: Delivering customer-focused service by being adaptable and responsive to patient needs, including addressing barriers to care and facilitating access to services.
• Participating in professional development: Pursuing ongoing education and training to remain at the forefront of industry developments while contributing to the mentorship of students and less experienced staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Advanced Millennia, you will work with a variety of patients facing orthopedic challenges, ranging from postoperative recovery to chronic pain management. Our clientele includes diverse age groups and physical capabilities, requiring therapists to employ a flexible, patient-centered approach to care. Understanding each patient's unique circumstances enhances recovery timelines and satisfaction rates.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current New Jersey state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of specialized exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Comfort and competency using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in orthopedic care, particularly in home health settings, will be given preference. Additional certifications related to orthopedic manual therapy or sports rehabilitation can also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
