Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, providing in-home care to patients throughout Irvington and nearby areas. You will enjoy a flexible schedule, typically working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional orthopedic physical therapy services to patients of all ages, conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and medical histories.
• Implement evidence-based practices and innovative rehabilitation techniques to enhance patient recovery and promote mobility.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective injury prevention strategies, appropriate home exercises, and self-management techniques to facilitate ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic orthopedic conditions. Your expertise will greatly impact their rehabilitation experience, allowing them to achieve their functional goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and a commitment to utilizing the latest therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in home care settings and familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of providing in-home physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 – 130,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.
