Position Overview

Resilience Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This full-time position focuses on delivering onsite home care services to patients with orthopedic conditions, enabling them to regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Work Environment

This role will be primarily conducted in patients' homes throughout Jersey City, allowing you to provide personalized care in a familiar environment. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, engaging directly with patients and their families in a collaborative and supportive setting. Our home care model enhances access to therapy while accommodating patients' schedules and needs, making it a rewarding and dynamic place to work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' musculoskeletal conditions to determine their specific therapy needs and set achievable goals.
• Create and implement personalized physical therapy plans that incorporate strength training, mobility exercises, and rehabilitation techniques tailored to each patient.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary to ensure continued improvement and optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about effective self-care strategies, injury prevention techniques, and rehabilitation exercises that can be done between sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver an integrated and effective approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We specialize in treating a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Many of our patients are dealing with conditions such as joint replacements, fractures, and chronic pain issues. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals regain their mobility, build strength, and return to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and professional requirements.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, particularly with orthopedic patients, demonstrating a strong understanding of both rehabilitation and preventive care.
• Proven knowledge of orthopedic conditions, treatments, and therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home care settings, highlighting adaptability and ability to provide therapy in varying environments.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Certification in specialized therapy techniques, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, to enhance treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
