Work Environment

This role involves working onsite with patients in their homes, emphasizing personalized therapy in a comfortable setting. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities and needs through comprehensive assessments.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that target specific orthopedic conditions, ensuring treatments are evidence-based and aligned with best practices.
• Deliver hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises and manual techniques, to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Educate clients and their families, providing resources for at-home exercises and self-care strategies to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and strategize on treatment pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is working with clients experiencing orthopedic issues, such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will be instrumental in providing care that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery while ensuring that each patient feels valued and understood.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience is essential, preferably in a home care or outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, musculoskeletal pathologies, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage empathetically with patients and their families.
• Proficient in using physical therapy modalities and techniques that promote recovery and enhance functionality.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in home healthcare or a similar setting is highly advantageous. Candidates with additional certifications in orthopedic rehabilitation or manual therapy techniques will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
