Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be working in a predominantly home care setting, engaging with patients in their own living environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying individual needs and designing effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing specialized techniques and methodologies that facilitate optimal recovery for each patient.
• Serve a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs, adapting strategies for each demographic.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service, enhancing the patient's experience and contributing to high satisfaction rates.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve maximum therapeutic outcomes, sharing insights and adopting best practices from each other.
• Provide education, consultation, and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with knowledge to support the healing process.
• Maintain documentation and meet clinical utilization goals and business objectives while upholding the highest standards of patient confidentiality and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, as well as those needing rehabilitative care across various other specialties. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient allows you to create personalized recovery plans and maintain effective communication with their healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is necessary, candidates with a background in home care, experience in pediatric and neurologic physical therapy, or those who have worked with sports medicine populations will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is an asset, as is an understanding of evidence-based practice methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This includes:
