Work Environment

This position will primarily involve home care, where you will visit patients in their residences throughout New Brunswick and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' orthopedic conditions, utilizing clinical tools and methodologies to identify movement impairments.
• Develop, implement, and manage personalized treatment plans that address individual patient goals, ensuring alignment with medical history and physical capabilities.
• Use advanced therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to optimize recovery, enhance mobility, and alleviate pain.
• Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation techniques, self-management strategies, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health systems, tracking progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to share insights and collectively address patient challenges and successes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary clientele includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will engage with patients of various ages, from adolescents to seniors, tailoring your approaches to account for each individual's unique circumstances and rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A valid state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and the application of therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate patients and engage with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home healthcare settings and familiarity with managing diverse orthopedic conditions are highly preferred. Knowledge of current treatment modalities and participation in professional development activities or continuing education courses will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, excluding bonuses and benefits.
