Work Environment

This position entails working in a home care setting, where you will engage directly with patients in their homes, providing the comfort and safety needed for effective rehabilitation. Our full-time therapists enjoy a work-life balance with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to dedicate your expertise firmly while also enjoying personal time. You will be supported by an experienced clinical team that values collaboration and respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs, paving the way for customized treatment.
• Develop and implement detailed, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance patient mobility and alleviate pain through targeted manual techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain regular communication with interdisciplinary team members—including physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists—to coordinate care pathways and maximize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, home programs, and strategies for preventing re-injury.
• Keep precise documentation of patient progress, treatment techniques used, and outcomes attained, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedically-injured patients, including those recovering from surgeries, fractures, joint replacements, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse demographic, accommodating unique needs and scenarios, and positively impacting their rehabilitation journey through proactive and personalized care strategies.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Current and active New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in outpatient or orthopedic settings, providing a solid foundation for patient care.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR for healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative and supportive care environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with manual therapy techniques and a thorough understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation protocols relevant to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and performance, alongside opportunities for bonuses.
