As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Bodywise Physical Therapy, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in the rehabilitation of patients within the comfort of their homes. Work Environment

This position is designed for those who prefer to work on-site in home care settings, allowing you to make a direct and impactful difference in the lives of patients. You will engage in one-on-one sessions with clients in their homes, providing an intimate and personalized approach to rehabilitation. Your working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a structured but flexible schedule that supports work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to formulate effective and individualized care plans.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to aid in recovery and mobility enhancement.
• Design fitness and wellness programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, focusing on promoting independence and enhancing functional outcomes.
• Motivate and inspire clients during therapy sessions to actively participate in their treatment plans and achieve optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for each patient, including regular updates on their progress and outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adapting care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle modifications that support long-term health and wellness goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will focus primarily on patients with musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Building rapport and trust with clients will be crucial as you guide them through their rehabilitation journeys, ultimately helping them regain their strength, flexibility, and overall functionality.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly in home care settings.
• Strong patient assessment, treatment planning, and direct care skills.
• Excellent communication abilities to connect with diverse patient populations and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Capability to engage and manage a variety of patient personalities and needs.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's degree is required, candidates with a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are encouraged to apply. Additional expertise in specific orthopedic conditions or certifications in advanced therapeutic techniques will be viewed favorably. Experience in developing community health initiatives and wellness programs is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
