Work Environment

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Liberty Therapy Clinic, you will work primarily in patients' homes, allowing for a tailored therapeutic approach that prioritizes comfort and personal engagement. Our environment is collaborative; you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals who share a commitment to maximizing patient outcomes through a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, requiring a full-time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that foster recovery, improving functionality and quality of life.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modality applications to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to organizational standards and insurance requirements.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service, establishing strong rapport with patients and their families while advocating for their needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care and effective communication regarding patient progress.
• Provide education and training to patients and caregivers about therapeutic exercises and self-management strategies to enhance recovery.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization rates and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the clinical team in achieving business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related issues. This variety allows for a rich clinical experience and the opportunity to expand your expertise in multiple therapy specialties.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in an orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in home health care or familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines in physical therapy will be advantageous. Proficiency in using clinical documentation systems can further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, accompanied by a robust benefits package.
