Work Environment

This role is set in an onsite home care environment, allowing our therapists to deliver personalized, one-on-one therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical conditions of patients, including their range of motion, strength, balance, and overall functional abilities.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on mobility improvement, pain management, and overall rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize evidence-based methods in therapy, ensuring that techniques are not only effective but also appropriate for each patient's unique condition.
• Engage in clinical teaching to mentor interns and new staff, providing guidance that fosters professional growth and the sharing of knowledge.
• Prepare and deliver in-service training sessions at least once a year, while actively contributing to the educational development of your colleagues.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care that includes obtaining and reviewing necessary documentation and referral processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation to track patient progress and adapt treatment plans as required, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with adults and the elderly who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or conditions. Your interventions will support these individuals in regaining independence and improving their functional mobility. Addressing varied conditions such as post-surgical recovery, arthritis, and sports injuries, your expertise will be essential in crafting effective rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical therapy, preferably in home care or outpatient settings.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective patient interaction and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly desirable, enhancing your therapeutic approach with advanced techniques.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
