Work Environment

This role involves working onsite as part of our home care service. You will have the unique opportunity to visit patients in their homes, where you will assess their environments and develop tailored treatment plans that accommodate their living situations. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality orthopedic physical therapy services to patients of varying ages, focusing on comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation, and recovery strategies.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations, patient goals, and existing medical conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to enhance patient recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team that includes physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques for injury prevention, effective home exercise regimens, and self-management strategies for long-term recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal pain conditions. This role requires keen clinical judgment to effectively adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient needs, medical histories, and progress assessments. You will be instrumental in helping clients regain their physical function and independence.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, demonstrating a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional clinical assessment capabilities and treatment skills tailored to orthopedic care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
