Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily based in a home care setting, where you will visit patients in their residences throughout Sayreville and nearby areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing assessments that guide the creation of tailored rehabilitation treatment plans.
• Design and implement personalized intervention strategies aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and overall functional independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in clinical education by mentoring interns and residents, sharing practical insights gained from real-world experiences.
• Prepare and present in-service training sessions at least once a year, contributing to the continuous education of clinical staff.
• Collaborate with management to identify educational needs and develop resources to foster professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is pivotal in helping these patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and restore their quality of life through targeted rehabilitation tailored to their specific circumstances. Additionally, you will play a part in educating patients about injury prevention and ongoing health maintenance.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid foundation in evidence-based practice.
• An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license, validating your qualifications to practice securely within the state.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, ideally focused on orthopedic care and recovery.
