Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain in an outpatient setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic methodologies such as exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and assistive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress closely, documenting treatment outcomes and adjusting care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and goals.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-management strategies, and the proper use of assistive devices to enhance independence and mobility.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care and share insights regarding patient progress.
• Stay current with treatment techniques and industry trends by attending workshops, engaging with professional organizations, and completing ongoing educational requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to individuals managing chronic conditions. You will work closely with patients of various ages to restore their functional abilities and alleviate pain. Your role is pivotal in guiding them through physical rehabilitation and empowering them to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and documentation software.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Experience mentoring new graduates or students in physical therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
