Position Overview

Triumph and Wellness Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in East Brunswick, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite role involves working collaboratively with patients to design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing their functional mobility and quality of life. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and guide physical therapy treatment to prevent disability, alleviate pain, restore muscle function, and maintain optimal performance within the patient's capabilities, in line with established care plans.
• Assess and evaluate each patient's functional status through diagnostic tests of nerve, muscle, joint, and functional abilities, enabling informed treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective implementation of therapy programs and treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' home environments and provide recommendations to enhance their independence during rehabilitation.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and physical agent modalities, while also instructing and motivating clients in their respective exercise routines.
• Evaluate, fit, and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices in accordance with physician recommendations.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to develop comprehensive treatment plans, sharing insights and suggestions with fellow team members.
• Educate patients and families on the use and care of therapeutic devices, as well as the overall physical therapy program.
• Remain available to supervise and assist Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to meet organizational goals and improve patient care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our services cater primarily to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The client population includes both adult and geriatric patients, who often require careful assessment and tailored rehabilitation programs to facilitate recovery and enhance their functional capabilities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and active state PT license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance for patient transport as necessary.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care with a focus on clinical excellence.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make informed decisions autonomously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist in an acute care or home care setting, preferably working with orthopedic patients.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Triumph and Wellness Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
