As a full-time Physical Therapist operating onsite, you will work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, ensuring seamless communication and integrated care. Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive orthopedic therapy treatment to prevent disability, relieve pain, and improve muscle function according to individualized care plans.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to the treatment protocols, maximizing patient outcomes.
• Perform thorough evaluations of patients' functional levels by employing diagnostic tests to identify strengths and limitations.
• Assess the patient's home environment and offer recommendations aimed at enhancing independence and recovery.
• Deliver physical therapy services as prescribed by referring physicians and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, traction, and modalities such as massage and physical agents.
• Evaluate, fit, and recommend orthotic and prosthetic devices, ensuring modifications as necessary for optimal patient function.
• Document all aspects of patient care including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to comprehensive treatment planning and progress evaluations.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding their treatment plans and the use of therapeutic devices, ensuring engagement in the rehabilitation process.
• Stay accessible to support Physical Therapy Assistants during treatment sessions and perform ongoing functional assessments as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist here, you will have the opportunity to work closely with diverse patients, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation patients to those seeking preventative care and pain management strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing within New Jersey.
• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an acute care or orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for potential home assessments.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
