Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and enhancing physical functionality for a diverse clientele.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic assessments of muscles, nerves, joints, and overall functional capacities.
• Collaborating with physical therapy assistants to ensure the correct execution of treatment protocols, offering guidance and oversight as required by state laws.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage treatments, as well as educating clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises for home practice.
• Regularly updating and revising care plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback from clients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to holistically evaluate and plan for client treatment strategies.
• Providing recommendations for home modifications to enhance rehabilitation efforts and improve client independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients vary in age and physical condition, reflecting a broad spectrum of orthopedic injuries and post-operative recovery needs. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders, providing vital support as they navigate their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills paired with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and continuously improving clinical practices.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, the following experience is preferred:

• One or more years' experience working in a physical therapy setting, particularly in acute care or home health environments.
• Familiarity with federal and state health care regulations and compliance measures.
• Experience in administering manual therapy techniques and utilizing assistive devices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
