Work Environment

This full-time position is conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Woodbridge, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on achieving optimum outcomes.
• Administer a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, utilizing our clinic's software systems to track patient progress and outcomes.
• Engage with patients and their families to provide education on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss treatment strategies and enhance the overall effectiveness of our patient care.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
• Achieve and maintain minimum utilization goals and contribute to the clinic's overall performance metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs. As a Physical Therapist at Patient Care Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, you will be exposed to a variety of cases, allowing you to broaden your skill set and deepen your expertise in multiple rehabilitation areas. Your role is critical in helping patients regain their strength and mobility after injuries or surgeries, thus enabling them to return to their daily activities and sports.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, specifically the APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Familiarity with word processing and electronic medical record systems.
• A strong commitment to building and maintaining professional relationships with patients and community members.
• A proactive, positive attitude and a desire to make a genuine difference in others' lives.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Specialized training or certification in areas such as sports therapy, pediatric therapy, or neurologic conditions is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for the position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
