Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment plans, intended outcomes, and self-management strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance treatment effectiveness and contribute to overall patient care initiatives.
• Provide community outreach activities, including workshops and seminars, to promote wellness and injury prevention.
• Adhere to the facility's operational goals by meeting minimum utilization targets and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on orthopedic patients, providing care for individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of specialties, including pediatric and neurologic patients, allowing you to expand your expertise and adapt your treatment approach to various scenarios.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Proficiency in basic life support, with current certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with patients and their families.
• Competency in using electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedics preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes competitive compensation, performance-based incentives, and opportunities for continuing education reimbursement.
