Work Environment

The work environment at Achilles Sports Medicine, located in Fords, NJ, is designed to foster collaboration and innovation. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule, with 40-hour shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring you can fully devote your efforts to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based methods, including manual therapy, functional training, and rehabilitative exercises.
• Monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by building rapport with patients and ensuring their comfort throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes and enhance interdisciplinary cooperation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation to reflect treatment provided and patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on the orthopedic patient population, where you will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. By leveraging your expertise in sports medicine, pediatric care, and neurology, you will play a significant role in helping patients regain their functional mobility. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on documenting detailed patient interactions.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
• A proven ability to establish meaningful relationships that foster patient trust and motivation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with particular emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Experience utilizing various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• The ability to create and deliver patient education workshops and seminars.

Compensation and Benefits

Achilles Sports Medicine offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a robust benefits package.
