Our facility boasts a cutting-edge sports medicine environment, enabling practitioners to deliver innovative therapies in a spacious 5,000 square foot rehabilitation center. As a member of our team, you'll align with two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to achieving the highest standards of patient care.

Work Environment

The role is performed onsite in our Rehabilitation Center located in Fords, NJ, where we create a collaborative and supportive environment. Our team works Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. The facility is designed to accommodate various patient needs and is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify mobility limitations and functional impairments.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' unique needs and goals, employing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Administer hands-on therapies that enhance range of motion and functional capabilities while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Design customized wellness and fitness programs that empower patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain an efficient patient load of one client per hour, ensuring high-quality, individualized care.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT to document treatment modalities, track progress, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Foster a motivating atmosphere by encouraging patients and continuously assessing their progress toward recovery milestones.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with orthopedic conditions who possess private medical insurance. This includes patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or musculoskeletal disorders. Our focus is on delivering the highest quality of care that facilitates rapid recovery and improved functionality.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess a valid license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Experience in implementing progressive exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience using EMR software like WebPT for patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is required.
• Preferred candidates will have a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Experience in working with diverse patient populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
