Our clinic spans 5,000 square feet of advanced sports medicine resources, equipped to provide top-tier rehabilitation services. We pride ourselves on a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, work together to deliver the highest standards of patient care. Our focus remains on outpatient services, primarily serving patients with private medical insurance, ensuring personalized treatment that caters to individual needs.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite and emphasizes a patient-centered approach in a supportive and innovative work environment. Our clinic fosters teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals, allowing for the sharing of knowledge and techniques, thereby enhancing patient outcomes. The team works Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet dynamic working atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized care plans that utilize a variety of treatment techniques, tailored to meet the specific goals and needs of each patient.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical capabilities and challenges of patients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their conditions.
• Provide one-on-one treatment sessions at a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure quality attention and care.
• Administer effective therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve strength, flexibility, and balance in patients.
• Educate patients about their conditions and treatment plans, facilitating understanding and engagement in their recovery process.
• Document services provided, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining accurate patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation results.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and address multifaceted patient needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus consists of orthopedic outpatient clients who have experienced musculoskeletal injuries or conditions. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with a diverse group of patients requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies to regain functionality and improve everyday living. By fostering a supportive environment, you will motivate patients throughout their journey, focusing on non-surgical interventions and minimizing reliance on medications.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free of any recorded board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise program design tailored to various patient needs.
• Experience using EMR software, specifically WebPT, for maintaining accurate patient records.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and engage with patients and teammates.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation practices and current trends in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
