Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient conditions, utilizing a variety of assessment tools to identify individual needs.
• Formulate personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations, targeting core areas such as pain reduction, mobility enhancement, and functional improvement.
• Implement and supervise a range of manual therapy techniques, guiding patients toward improved functional movement and pain relief.
• Design and lead customized exercise programs tailored to each patient's rehabilitation goals, focusing on strength, flexibility, and overall recovery.
• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring responsiveness to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share insights and ensure comprehensive patient care, fostering an environment of learning and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with motivated adult patients aged 40 to 65, all seeking to regain their mobility and enhance their quality of life post-injury or surgery. This patient demographic values personalized care and is committed to their recovery, allowing you to engage deeply with your clients and witness their progress firsthand.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapy license, enabling you to practice in the state and stay compliant with local regulations.
• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, ensuring that you possess the practical skills necessary for this role.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with WebPT is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required, candidates with experience in managing complex cases or experience within a multidisciplinary team setting will be highly regarded. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic interventions are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 – 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
