Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our modern rehabilitation center in scenic Marlboro, NJ, which is known for its supportive community atmosphere. The position requires a full-time commitment, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Treat an average of three patients per hour, focusing primarily on adults aged 40-65 suffering from various orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using assessments tailored to identify the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapies.
• Incorporate patient education into sessions, empowering individuals with knowledge about their conditions and recovery strategies.
• Document all patient progress accurately and efficiently using CureMD EMR, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with a broad team of health professionals including medical doctors, occupational therapists, chiropractor specialists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to coordinate high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults, with a significant portion of patients aged between 40 to 65 years who are experiencing orthopedic challenges. This role requires an ability to address a range of conditions from preventative care to complex rehabilitation needs. By working closely with patients, you will help them set realistic goals for recovery and maintain a positive outlook throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Possession of an active New Jersey Physical Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Excellent clinical reasoning skills combined with strong communication abilities to effectively engage and motivate patients.

Preferred Experience

• While outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates eager to learn and contribute. Prior experience in physical therapy settings, particularly those focusing on orthopedic conditions, is considered an asset but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
