Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, where you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and communication. Our average patient load allows for meaningful interactions with each patient, ensuring that you can deliver thorough and effective care. The clinic operates during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific orthopedic conditions.
• Provide evidence-based treatment using various modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to facilitate recovery.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies to optimize outcomes, documenting progress effectively in our electronic medical record system, CureMD.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including medical doctors, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to enhance the overall care provided to patients.
• Engage with patients through motivational techniques, helping them stay committed to their treatment goals and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients aged 40 to 65 who present with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your role in their rehabilitation journey is vital; you will not only help relieve pain but also empower them to regain their independence and functionality, significantly improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Master's Degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and motivate patients from various backgrounds.
• A patient-centered approach focused on quality care and positive rehabilitation outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, though recent graduates with a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, particularly CureMD, will be beneficial but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a robust benefits package, which includes:
