This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within a community-focused rehabilitation facility, earning an annual salary between USD 110,000 and 125,000.

Work Environment

Situated in Freehold, NJ, our rehabilitation facility promotes a calm and steady-paced setting ideal for providing individualized patient care. The physical therapist will typically manage a caseload of three patients per hour, allowing ample time to develop meaningful relationships with patients and to tailor treatment plans to their distinct needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to craft customized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and function.
• Implement hands-on manual therapy techniques that effectively enhance patient outcomes and support rehabilitation goals.
• Guide patients through progressive strength and movement programs, ensuring that exercises align with their individual recovery timelines.
• Regularly modify care plans based on clinical outcomes and patient feedback, maintaining a dynamic approach to treatment that prioritizes patient engagement and input.
• Collaborate with other clinical team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care is maintained, contributing to shared treatment goals and interprofessional communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic at Austin Rehab Center includes adult individuals aged 40 to 65 who are seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic conditions. Patients may present with a variety of issues, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain, injury rehabilitation, and preventative care. This role requires sensitivity to the unique challenges and needs of this population, ensuring that all care delivered is respectful, individualized, and aimed at fostering optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited educational program.
• Active New Jersey State physical therapy license, with the ability to practice independently.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in treatment methodologies and patient care.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and continuity of care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with adult populations recovering from orthopedic surgeries or chronic conditions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based clinical pathways specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 110,000 to 125,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
