Work Environment

The Austin Rehab Center offers a serene and well-organized environment that is designed to enhance patient recovery and facilitate effective collaboration among staff members. As a Physical Therapist, you will engage with patients in a calm, steady-paced setting, approximately treating three patients per hour. This structure allows for detailed attention to each patient, ensuring that their unique needs are met while enabling you to utilize proven therapeutic techniques effectively. Our center prioritizes patient well-being and rehabilitation outcomes above all.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments and personal goals.
• Implement and administer hands-on manual therapy techniques that enhance functional movement and alleviate discomfort.
• Design and oversee progressive strength and movement programs that encourage patient participation and recovery progression.
• Continuously adapt and update care plans according to patient feedback and clinical outcomes, ensuring a responsive approach to therapy.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other professionals to discuss patient progress and strategies to optimize recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately using WebPT or similar Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of adults aged 40-65, who typically present with various orthopedic conditions. This audience often seeks rehabilitation following surgeries or injuries related to sports, work, or daily activities. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing their specific pain points and mobility challenges, offering them the compassionate care and rehabilitation they require to return to their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapy license.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of relevant therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency in using EMR software such as WebPT to document patient care and progress.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation facility that emphasizes collaborative patient care.
• Familiarity with additional modalities such as dry needling or other advanced therapeutic techniques.
• Involvement in community outreach programs focusing on health prevention and education.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to USD 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
