Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist in our clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Developing detailed and individualized rehabilitation plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Regularly monitoring patient progress, documenting changes, and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver cohesive care and facilitate communication regarding patient status and progress.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment options, at-home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves adults aged between 40 and 65 years, many of whom are managing chronic pain or recovering from orthopedic injuries. This patient demographic allows you to work with a diverse range of conditions, from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injuries and chronic orthopedic issues. Your role will significantly impact their quality of life by helping them regain mobility and function.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
