Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Home Care Position

The Motion and Health Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our passionate team in Freehold, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, offering an engaging work environment where you will interact with patients in their homes as well as within our clinic. The setting encourages teamwork, as you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care. Our physical therapist team is known for its supportive and collaborative culture, providing an environment where you can thrive professionally. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' needs, mobility levels, and functional capabilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on orthopedic conditions using evidence-based practices, including manual therapies and specific exercise regimens.
• Treat an average of three patients per hour, ensuring high-quality care through effective time management and patient engagement.
• Keep meticulous patient records using the CureMD electronic medical records system to ensure up-to-date documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to create a coordinated care approach that optimizes patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients regarding their condition, the recovery process, and home exercise instructions to empower them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve adult patients aged 40 to 65 who are seeking rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions. Your ability to connect with each patient and understand their distinct recovery needs will be pivotal. The focus will be on helping them regain mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their overall functional abilities to improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with an active NJ Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical skills, including experience in orthopedic interventions and knowledge of best practice methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication and rapport-building with patients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience

• While prior outpatient experience is preferred, recent graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive comprehensive support as they transition into their professional careers.
• Experience with CureMD EMR or similar healthcare documentation systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 125,000 per year , reflective of your experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
