Position Overview

Privado Chiropractic LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. This full-time position is integral in providing compassionate and effective rehabilitation for patients in a home care setting. You will be responsible for crafting individualized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and enhance overall patient health.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, typically involving home visits to patients. You will have a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to engage with patients one-on-one. On average, you will evaluate and treat 5 to 7 patients daily, ensuring personalized attention and care. The home care environment fosters a unique opportunity to understand each patient's personal health challenges and their living conditions, allowing for tailored interventions focused on recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough orthopedic assessments to evaluate patients' physical capabilities and limitations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to promote recovery and improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and prescribed at-home exercises to support ongoing recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility standards.
• Participate in regular case reviews and team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed to optimize results.
• Stay updated on the latest practices and developments in orthopedic physical therapy to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team serves a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. This includes patients with chronic pain, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and age-related degenerative issues. Your role will allow you to tailor your approach to the unique individuals you meet, understanding their specific needs and working diligently to assist them in regaining their health and independence.

Qualifications

• A valid physical therapy license in good standing in the State of New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy (a Doctorate or Master's degree is preferable).
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programming.

Preferred Experience

• Experience operating in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Certifications in orthopedic specialties, such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or relevant manual therapy credentials.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across care teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
