Work Environment

Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a standard yet flexible environment that promotes work-life balance. This full-time role is primarily performed on-site in home care settings, allowing you to interact closely with patients in their own environments, enabling tailored care that significantly impacts their recovery and rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess functional abilities, deficits, and goals. These evaluations will form the foundation of individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational resources to optimize mobility and pain reduction.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team comprising physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to create a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, preventative strategies, and the importance of adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions, ensuring compliance with local regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, chronic pain management, and age-related musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapy License is required.
• Proficient in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification for healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing effective interaction with patients, families, and medical team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in outpatient or orthopedic settings.
• Proven background in implementing manual therapy and exercise techniques effectively.
• Experience in patient education, particularly in developing home exercise programs and therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
