The role is based within a dynamic rehabilitation facility in the heart of Red Bank, New Jersey. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapy assistants, all of whom are focused on delivering high-quality care and achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability and relieving pain while restoring muscle function and ensuring maximum performance based on the individual client's capabilities.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to established care plans and provide guidance during patient treatments.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional capabilities through diagnostic tests for muscle, nerve, joint, and overall physical abilities.
• Assess the home environment to identify factors affecting rehabilitation and provide recommendations to help enhance clients' independence.
• Administer prescribed physical therapy services including manual exercises, traction, and physical agents as part of the treatment plan.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices and collaborate with physicians on necessary modifications.
• Document clinical records meticulously, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to comprehensive treatment planning and progress evaluations.
• Guide and educate clients and their families on therapy devices and overall rehabilitation programs.
• Complete timely documentation of clinical and payroll information to comply with organizational policies and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting musculoskeletal function. The focus will be on tailoring rehabilitation programs that address each patient's unique needs, enabling them to achieve improved mobility and independence. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory.
• Current, valid PT license in New Jersey, demonstrating good standing.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, preference will be given to candidates with a background in either acute care or home care settings. Familiarity with regulations from governmental and professional agencies will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
