Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in the rehabilitation setting to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modalities, aimed at enhancing patients' functional abilities and alleviating pain.
• Monitor patient progress by documenting treatments, responses, and outcomes; adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure that therapeutic objectives are met.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation protocols and the effective use of assistive devices that foster independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights from sessions and contributing to a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and staying updated with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions arising from injuries, surgeries, and degenerative disorders. You will be focused on those needing rehabilitation for improved mobility, pain management, and functional independence. Each patient will have unique challenges and therapeutic needs, allowing you to tailor your approach and make a significant impact on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to connect with patients and educate them and their families.
• Proficient in using computer systems for patient documentation and progress tracking.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset, allowing for adjustments in treatment plans as necessary based on patient response.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in physical therapy is not required, candidates who possess experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or have demonstrated clinical excellence in internships or graduate programs will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
