Work Environment

Located in Middletown, New Jersey, our rehabilitation facility features state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive team atmosphere. You will work onsite alongside a dedicated group of healthcare professionals including physical therapists, chiropractors, and wellness coaches, all of whom share a common goal: to provide exceptional health care services. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the functional abilities of patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, leading to the development of customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize evidence-based intervention techniques to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and improve the overall quality of life for patients.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team—including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses—to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care and to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education on therapeutic exercises, home exercise programs, and injury prevention, empowering them with the knowledge to manage their conditions effectively.
• Maintain precise and detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development by attending workshops and training relevant to advanced physical therapy practices and holistic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client focus includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and those dealing with age-related conditions. Your role will be crucial in helping them regain strength and flexibility to return to their daily activities and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Key interpersonal and communication skills that foster strong relationships with patients and team members alike.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, particularly in outpatient or orthopedic settings, is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by performance bonuses.
