Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patient conditions based on referrals from physicians, assessing physical capabilities and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a mix of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities designed to maximize the patient's recovery.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to the physician's plan of care.
• Provide hands-on therapies to address orthopedic issues and assist in rehabilitating patients recovering from surgeries or injuries.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, techniques, and home exercises to promote long-term recovery and injury prevention.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance integrated patient care and optimize treatment results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse array of patients, primarily focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA- or CAPTE-approved program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients and families.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits
