Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at alleviating pain, enhancing functionality, and preventing mobility-related disabilities.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants during patient treatments, ensuring adherence to established care plans.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations using diagnostic techniques to assess musculoskeletal capabilities and readiness for rehabilitation.
• Evaluate home environments and recommend necessary modifications to foster independence and facilitate effective rehabilitation.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, and manual treatments, educating patients on pain management and mobility techniques.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary case conferences, collaborating with doctors and specialists to optimize patient treatment plans.
• Document clinical notes, initial evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education regarding rehabilitation protocols and the effective use of assistive devices.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, promptly submitting clinical orders and documentation as required.
• Adjust and fit orthopedic devices while working closely with referring physicians regarding any necessary modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who have undergone orthopedic procedures or suffer from related injuries. This includes individuals recovering from joint replacements, fractures, sprains, or chronic pain conditions. Your expert guidance and treatment plans will cater to diverse patient needs, ensuring they receive the compassionate care and rehabilitation support required for a successful return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence and a patient-centered approach.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
