Work Environment

This position will be onsite at our rehabilitation center in Lincroft, NJ, where you will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge therapy equipment and a collaborative atmosphere that prioritizes patient-centered care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments, utilizing advanced evaluation techniques to identify individual rehabilitation needs.
• Create personalized treatment plans that align with patients' specific health goals, emphasizing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Deliver high-quality therapy sessions that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Effectively manage a diverse caseload, ensuring optimal focus and attention to each patient's unique recovery journey.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement continuous improvement strategies in therapy methods and interventions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously in our EMR system, ensuring transparent communication with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care strategies.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and the importance of adhering to rehabilitation protocols.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population comprises individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. The therapist will work closely with diverse age groups, tailoring interventions and interactions to suit each individual's unique circumstances and recovery goals. A holistic focus on their rehabilitation journey helps ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no infractions or disciplinary history.
• Strong aptitude in assessing patient conditions and developing effective physical therapy treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, especially in settings similar to Joint Recovery.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and the application of therapeutic modalities.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, determined by relevant experience and skills.
