Key Responsibilities

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will have a diverse range of responsibilities that contribute to the care and recovery of our patients:

• Examine and evaluate patients with functional limitations and orthopedic conditions, then develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Provide in-depth consultations to healthcare providers regarding the patient's continuum of care, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Maintain adherence to our high customer service standards by interacting compassionately with patients from all age groups and cultural backgrounds.
• Document treatments accurately, including evaluations, findings, and plans, while meeting both productivity and regulatory compliance standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights that enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote the services of Care Ring Physical Therapy Services.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy aides and students, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
• Conduct regular evaluations of patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly, while collaborating with physicians on significant changes in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with diverse age groups, from young athletes to seniors, providing each with tailored treatment solutions. Your ability to connect with patients on a personal level will enhance their recovery experience, encouraging compliance and motivation throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, ensuring clear interactions with patients and healthcare teams.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation will be given preference. Familiarity with outcome measurement tools and evidence-based practice guidelines is beneficial. Additionally, experience leading community education classes or workshops would be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
