Decker Physical Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Keyport, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Direct a comprehensive plan of care that includes assessments and interventions tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on relieving pain, restoring function, and preventing disability.
• Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing therapeutic programs that align with the approved treatment plans.
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities through assessments including muscle strength, joint stability, and mobility tests, using these evaluations to steer treatment methodologies.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, including progress notes and clinical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the establishment of continuity of care.
• Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary team members, participating in case conferences aimed at addressing complex patient cases.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises, the use of equipment, and lifestyle modifications that facilitate long-term health improvements.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to remain current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic physical therapist will focus on a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in an orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
