Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy treatment to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function according to each patient's individual care plan.
• Overseeing physical therapy assistants to ensure the appropriate implementation of therapy interventions.
• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate patient function through diagnostic exams that measure muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Assessing home environments to recommend modifications and adaptations that increase independence and enhance overall safety for rehabilitation.
• Providing physical therapy services as prescribed by physicians, including the administration of therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and the use of physical agents.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to refine and update treatment plans, participating actively in case conferences to discuss patient progress and adjust therapies as needed.
• Documenting all clinical encounters meticulously, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring adherence to agency regulations and standards.
• Guiding and instructing patients and their families in the safe and effective use of physical therapy devices and recovery techniques, thus empowering them throughout their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with patients of all ages, focusing on their specific needs to restore functionality and mobility. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current PT licensure in good standing with the state of New Jersey.
• One year of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in acute care or home care settings.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence and a passion for patient-centered care.

• Demonstrate experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
