Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation center located in Sayreville, New Jersey. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and support staff, all dedicated to the goal of optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations and evaluations to assess each patient's functional limitations and developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Implementing treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, constantly adapting strategies based on ongoing evaluations and patient progression.
• Providing clear and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to review patient conditions and adjust treatment plans as necessary, thereby enhancing patient outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations in the delivery of physical therapy services and maintaining appropriate licensure on file.
• Participating in departmental meetings, training sessions, and continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Engaging with patients and their families, educating them about the rehabilitation process and empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Right Form Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, our patient population consists primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Our goal is to help these individuals regain mobility, strength, and confidence through targeted therapeutic interventions. Whether you are working with an adolescent athlete or an elderly patient adjusting to changes in mobility, your commitment to compassionate care will be essential.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid physical therapist license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR Certification to ensure patient safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues effectively.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a rehabilitation center setting, particularly working with post-operative orthopedic patients, is highly preferred. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation best practices will be beneficial. Those with a background in evidence-based practice or experience utilizing digital health solutions will stand out as candidates.

Compensation and Benefits

Right Form Rehabilitation & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
