Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office setting in Sayreville, New Jersey, where you will work Monday to Friday, conducting 40-hour shifts. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, creating a conducive environment for both patient treatment and professional collaboration among staff members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, carefully considering their specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and adapt treatment protocols based on patient progress and physician recommendations to promote optimal recovery outcomes.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for patients while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the clinic.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to maximize patient outcomes through evidence-based care and innovative therapeutic approaches.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care within the outpatient setting, using established procedures and techniques to manage patients' conditions effectively.
• Educate and train patients and their families about treatment options, self-management techniques, and lifestyle changes to improve their overall quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Liberty Sports and Wellness Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient demographic, specifically focusing on orthopedic cases along with pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, ideally focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, ensuring readiness to respond to emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient records accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized treatment techniques and modalities relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
